Peacefully on April 11, 2014 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Lee after 61 years of marriage. Loving father of Cindy, Larry (Cynthia), and daughter-in-law Carrie, as well as the late Peter, David, and Rick. Grandpa of Amanda (Chris), Richard, Joshua, Benjamin, and Jocelyn. Great Grandpa of Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, and Evan. Predeceased by his sister Donna. Dick had a passion for the outdoors, playing or watching sports of any kind, the shamrock club in L’Amable, and his dogs. Friends may call for a memorial service at FAITH UNITED CHURCH (1778 Nash Rd, Courtice) on Wednesday April 16th at 2pm, Visitation will be held an hour prior to service time. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
