Obituary for Joaquim "Jack" Felix

Felix, Joaquim “Jack” – It is with great sadness the family of Jack Felix announces his passing on Thursday October 23, 2014 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Jack in his 90th year was predeceased by his wife Beatrice in 1997. Loving father of Altino and his wife Jane and the late Carlos (2004) (Suzanne). Dear grandfather of Jeffrey (Wendy), Katherine (Jean Francois), Michael (Lori) and Amanda (Paul). Great grandfather of Madison, Brighton, Kayla, Charla and step great grandfather of Nolan and Christian. Fondly remembered by his long time companion Lina Consoli and family. Jack was a pioneer of the Portuguese community. He sponsored many of his family and friends to emigrate from Portugal to Oshawa. Jack always led a healthy and active life enjoying gardening, swimming and dancing. Known as “Jack of all trades” he was always handy and resourceful. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral mass at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church on Wednesday October 29th , 11am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm. Parish prayers will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 7pm.
