Obituary for Emily Vancurenko (Starcic)
VANCURENKO, Emily (nee Starcic) – Peacefully on Friday January 16, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 86. Emily, much loved mother of George Bobby Vancurenko and the late Natalie Halay. Loved by her granddaughter Eva and her great and her great great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Andrew Starcic (Catherine), Tony Starcic (Zlata), and Kaja Culumovic. Missed by nieces and nephews, especially Nada (Zlatko) and Dinko. Family and friends may call on Tuesday January 20th from 11:30am – 1:30pm at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, (905-433-4711). Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. Memorial donations to the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre would be greatly appreciated by Emily’s family.
