Sylvia Ruth  Fournier (LaCroix)

FOURNIER, Sylvia “Tillie”
Passed away on February 1, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 91.
She leaves behind her beloved son Dan and his wife Linda, and her sister and friend, Laura. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim, and her sister, Mona Quinn. Sylvia leaves many relative, nieces and nephews, especially Jane and Fred Lloyd, and her Mother-in-Law, who she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by many friends, Islay Beares and Glenna Legacy, as well as by all of her former coworkers at Canada Post and The Oshawa Times. The family would also like to extend a warm thank you to all of the staff at the 4F unit of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for all of the care and compassion they gave to Sylvia. A memorial mass will take place at St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11am, with burial of cremated remains to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.
