Minnie  Tureck (Savick)
TURECK, Minnie

Passed away peacefully, suurounded by family, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on March 25, 2015 at the age of 100.
Predeceased by her husband William(Benny) Tureck in 1972, her parents George Savick(Austria) and Sophie Semkiw(Ukraine), and her brothers Mike, Nick, Steve, Adam and Peter Savick.
Minnie leaves behind her sons John and Ron, and her daughter-in-law and best friend, Elinor.
Devoted grandmother to Tina Dezsi, and Russ and Rick Tureck.
Cherished great grandmother to Justin Miller(Bonnie), Zak Dezsi(Maddy) and Curtis Tureck.
She will be sadly missed by her great great granddaughter, Brielle Miller.

Friends may call for visitation at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME(124 King St. E., Oshawa) on Thursday March 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with a funeral service to take place in the chapel on Friday, March 27, at 10am. Interment to follow at Oshawa Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to either the Durham Elder Abuse Network or the OSPCA would be greatly appreciated.
