Obituary for Idalina Conceicao Ruas Santos (de Sousa)
SANTOS, Idalina Conceicao Ruas de Sousa
December 8, 1925 – March 31, 2015. Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Arnaldo for 63 years, loving mother to Sharon (Alan) and loved Avo Lina of Carter and Nicole Dunn. Dear sister of Tina Juncal, Mary Melo and Mario de Sousa predeceased. Lovingly remembered by nephews and cousins. Idalina moved to Oshawa in 1955 from Portugal and she loved to cook for her family, friends and spend time at her cottage on Stoney Lake.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME(124 King St. E. Oshawa) from 10am until the time of service in the chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
In memory of Idalina, memorial donations can be made to Sick Kids Hospital in lieu of flowers.
