MANKO, Roman – GM Retiree 32 Years-Service – Passed away suddenly on April 5, 2015. Roman, beloved son of Ivan and Tina Manko, dear brother of Gregory Manko (Tracy). Cherished uncle of Matthew Manko, (Raquel), and Jeremy Manko (Amanda). Great uncle of Thomas and Alyssa Manko. He will be fondly remembered by extended family in Ukraine and the Netherlands. Roman was a leading member of the Durham Cycling Club, the Newcastle Dart League and the General Motors Dart League. He will be greatly missed by all the friends he made through his involvement in the community. Family and friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday April 12th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Panachyda at 7:30pm. Memorial service on Monday April 13th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Roman’s family.
