PENNINGS, Maria A. (nee Hermens) – Peacefully surrounded by her family at the
Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby on Sunday October 7, 2018, at the age of 93.
Dear wife of the late Gerrit Pennings. Much loved mother of Rikie Pennings, and
proud grandmother of Geoffrey Scarfo.
Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Hear felt thanks to the staff
of the Perry Ward at the Village of Tauton Mills for the loving care Maria received
over the past 4 plus years.
A private family burial has taken place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Funeral
arrangements entrusted to the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East,
