Obituary for Julia Filipowich (Wanhella)
FILIPOWICH, Julia
Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, after a lengthy illness, with loved ones by her side on Thursday July 28, 2016, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Walter and Olga, and the late Sylvia. Cherished Baba of Chris (Kim) and Stephanie (Ken), and great Baba of Logan, Ryann, Colson, Danyka, and Kallen. Julia survived the war, the loss of her husband and daughter, and fought heart disease, but always maintained her sense of humour. She will be missed by all of us. As per Julia’s wishes, a private family service has been held. Interment at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
