Obituary for Jan Czuba

Jan Czuba
CZUBA, Jan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father at the age of 69. Surrounded by family, he passed away from a brave fight with cancer on Monday July 10th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Predeceased by his parents Stanislaw and Antonina. Loving husband of Elizabeth and cherished father of Adam and his wife Angelina, Paul, step-son Christopher Kozak and his wife Fran, step-son Andy Kozak and daughter Margaret (Ludwik Pawlikowski) and their daughters. Loving Dziadzia to Zoey, Lyla and Tomek. Predeceased by brother and sister in Poland and brother of Aniela (Wych) and Janina (Jargosz) in Poland. Dear Uncle to Zbigniew Czuba and his sons Adrian and Filip. He will be greatly missed by all of his cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Poland and Canada.
Retiree from GM Oshawa and previously worked in Poland Krakow – Nowa Huta. Long standing President and member of ZNPwK Branch #7. Also a member of the General Sikorski Polish Veterans Association, who contributed his time with St. Hedwig’s Church as an usher.
His retirement was enjoyed spending time with family boating, fishing for Pike, gardening and picking wild mushrooms around the cottage in Kaszuby.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to family and friends here in Canada and Poland for all of their love and support. Special thanks to doctors, nurses, and incredible staff at Lakeridge Health who cared for him during his brief illness.
