It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maria on Monday July 17, 2017, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Wasyl (2004). Devoted and loving mother of Lesia (Ray), and Eugene (Angela). Proud grandmother of Peter (Janette), Paul (Jennifer), Ivanna, and Mark, as well as great grandmother of Ethan. Survived by her 2 brothers, Myhailo and Alexi. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME Oshawa, for Visitation Friday July 21 from 7pm to 9pm, panachyda at 7:30pm. Divine Liturgy of Christian burial at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Saturday July 22nd at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated.
