Condolence From: James Champa
Condolence: Shaaron was my third grade teacher, 1966-67. She was an angel, and still is. 1967 was my last year in Canada before moving to Washington State. We reconnected during my visits to Oshawa in 2003 and 2011. What a wonderful time we had! Shaaron will always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget her.

Condolence: We were all deeply saddened to hear of Shaaron's passing. We have so many wonderful memories of visits at Bill and Shaaron's home and at ours. One of our happiest memories was when Bill and Shaaron joined us for a family visit to the Netherlands the summer before Bill passed away. We will treasure all of the wonderful memories.

Condolence: “Mrs. Drayton” stands out as my very favourite elementary school teacher. (Adelaide McLaughlin Public School, Grade 3, 1969/1970.) I vividly remember her passion for England. I so enjoyed the slides she showed us of a recent trip to London, and her colourful drawings of Henry VIII and his six wives which lined a school hallway. She instilled in me a fascination for England and its history that’s never abated. She also read to us regularly – wonderful books – and she read them with such life that I couldn’t wait for the next instalment! I feel so lucky that she was my teacher. She was a very special soul.

Condolence: I met Shaaron and her little dog Morag 5 years ago when I moved into the neighbourhood. We would have court-side chats about our dogs, past and present. I felt an immediate connection with Shaaron as I am sure many people have felt and her friendliness and positive attitude was refreshing. It is not the same walking with the dogs around her court. I feel an emptiness in my heart knowing she isn't going to come out and chat but I feel very honoured to have known her, even for such a short time. Shaaron will forever be in my heart RIP, my friend xxoo

Condolence: It was a privilege to know Shaaron. She was a talented teacher and artist and a warm generous sole who spread joy and light wherever she travelled. Thinking of you Vicki and all her family and friends who will miss her infectious laugh and her obvious delight in children and all God's creatures.

Condolence: Grief and sadness do not adequately convey our feelings at the loss of such a wonderful person as we had in Shash. We have known Shash and Bill since 1966 and it would be impossible to recount all the years of happy events sometimes clouded by events of sadness. Shash was a treasure to so many. We were all lucky to have had her with us for so long. Rest in peace Shash. Elaine and Larry Flintoff. (Aka. Herb & Wilma) ❤️
