Condolences

Condolence From: Susan Petrini (Fuller)
Condolence: I just happened to come across Thelma's obituary. I have a picture of Thelma and Bert taken in 1964. They were visiting my mom Helen Beatrice Fuller. I was just a little baby in the picture and my sister was 3 years old sitting on Thelma's lap. My mother who passed on January 1, 2014 at 94 and myself use to speak and remember all the wonderful times the Fuller family had with both Thelma and Bert. I remember as a small girl visiting them when they lived at the water works in the beaches. They both also attended my father's funeral Gordon Roy Fuller who passed away on July 11, 1981. I remember Stevie and Billy, they were very young as well. Thank you both for the memories. My condolences go out to the entire family. Thelma and Bert are now reunited with both my parents laughing and talking again just like the old days. God Bless to the family.

Condolence: Thelma loved singing and had an amazing voice and fantastic memory for the words to the songs. We enjoyed singing together and I especially loved how expressive she was when she was singing. We will miss her bright voice and personality at Sunnycrest.

Condolence: Dear Bill, Cathy, Steve and Family:

We are so saddened to learn of Thelma's passing. She was such a special lady. I had the pleasure of knowing her and working with her at Borden & Elliot many years ago. We shared so many laughs at her reception desk. She always talked fondly of all of you. The Video Tribute is just beautiful. She never changed over the years and always had that infectious smile.

We extend our deep and heartfelt sympathy to you all.

Sincerely,

Sean and Susan Quigley

Condolence From: To Our Most Beloved Thelma
Condolence: To our most illustrious Thelma Adams, a former "Bomb Girl," who will be most decidedly missed by many loved ones in Whitby and Oshawa. For those who remain far away at this time, know Thelma was watched with great care until her final passing. God surely has a place in heaven for this feisty and stalwart member of our illustrious family. Thelma was the eldest daughter of Annie Alicia Jones (nee "LeJeune") and George Samuel Jones (a "Home Child," one of the 100,000 juvenile migrants sent to Canada from the British Isles during the child emigration movement). An ancestral Daughter of Acadia and France, a family of relative antiquity documented n Déclarations de Belle-Île-en-Mer in the Collection de Documents inédits sur le Canada et l’Amérique publiés par le Canada-français. You will be most greatly and sadly missed by myriad individuals who loved and watched over you until you reached eternal rest with our Heavenly Father. Love always.

Condolence From: MB
Condolence: I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one Thelma. The loss of a family or friend can be hard but the Bible gives hope at Revelation 21:3-4 that there will be a time when sickness and death will be no more. How comforting to know God cares and will do away with death. There is also the hope of the resurrection. For more info go to JW.org
