Condolences

Condolence From: James Lucyk
Condolence: My father Walter was born in Vita , Manitoba March 15 ,1928 and was raised on the family farm there. He emmigrated to Ontario in 1948 and worked for Mr. Anderson as a "Master Plasterer" with his brothers Mike and Morris and he did the fancy sculpted ceilings + crown moldings in a lot of older homes in Oshawa , Trenton and Belleville. Walter married Mary Gonta in 1949 they raised 6 successful children @ 79 Church St. Columbus (1954) later moved to 19 Stonesound Rd. Port Perry (1988) John (builder) Leslie (accountant) Patti (automotive seamstress) Steven (Machinist) Brian (Engineer) James (Heavy Truck Mechanic) Dad left Anderson Plastering and joined General Motors in 1950 where he worked there building cars for 38 years and owned his own 100 acre farm with great pride in Sunderland raising 30 head of cattle and crops of wheat and corn with the help of his family until his retirement in 1988. Walter enjoyed his retirement for 30 years with his family always by his side , his beautiful property , huge vegetable garden and his beautiful lawn and he included travelling every winter to his Florida home for 25 years with his wife Mary. He was an accomplished man with a lot to be proud of right to the very end of his life - November 8 ,2017. A mighty oak tree that has finally come down - Rest in Peace Dad we love you and will miss you
