Condolence: Sincere condolences to members of Bart's family on his passing. I knew Bart as a member of the Oshawa New Democratic Party who was still attending party social events in 2017. He was a kind, caring man with a good sense of humour who enjoyed chatting about his life and work in Oshawa. I will miss talking to him on the phone and at membership socials.

Condolence: Bart would drop in to see me from time to time . I found him very delightful. He especially liked to talk about some of the great race horses of yesteryear and he even kept many souveneer winning tickets of the these Champions rather than cashing them.
