YOUNG, Walter James - Was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday, May 2nd, 2011 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 58. Though Walter fought a hard battle with cancer his faith and love of the Lord sustained him until the end. Walter touched the lives of so many through his 35 years teaching guitar as well as just being a “good guy” and a great friend. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the good fortune to know him. Those that knew him best would like to think he’s happiest now…rock’in out in heaven.

A Celebration of Walter’s life will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E., Oshawa (905) 433-4711 on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 with visitation beginning at 10a.m. until service time in the chapel at 12p.m.
