Pre-arranging
Saying goodbye is one of
the hardest things anyone must go through. Taking time to discuss with your
family your final wishes will make a significant difference when the time comes.
An ever widening segment of
the population is taking the time to pre-plan their own and/or their loved oneâs
funeral services. Why? Quite simply, many people wish to have input into their
own tribute. Others wish to lessen the burden on surviving family and friends
who would otherwise be left with arrangement duties.
We at Armstrong Funeral
Home are here to guide and assist you through your decision making process. We
want to ensure that the services you choose are comfortable and right for your
loved ones because the funeral is for the living.
The funeral is a
celebration of life, a time for family and friends to come together to share
memories. We work with you and your family to personalize the service by
choosing appropriate music, photos and personal items.
When
pre-arranging with Armstrong's, we'll assist you with decisions such
as:
-

Information
which will be required at the time of the pre-arrangement is Social Insurance

While
pre-arranging is very considerate emotionally, it also makes good financial
sense. Services can be pre-paid at today's rates, allowing for significant cost
savings.
Pre-financed funerals are
held either in Trust with Guaranteed Funeral Deposits of Canada or in an
insurance policy. Interest earned stays with the principle to fund any increase
in the cost of the funeral. All deposits and policies are protected.
