Condolences

Condolence From: Corey Knecht
Condolence: My deepest regrets to hear of Terry's passing. May the memories of how he bettered your lives quickly overshadow the pain of this loss - he was such a happy person, I think he definitely would have wanted that. Of course it isn't my place to say, but I really feel like I knew him well enough to say that with certainty.

Although this phrase tends to be overused a bit, I truly do feel lucky to have known him; even in those few Toastmasters meetings we participated in together, I quickly saw this wonderful aura of positivity and genuine character around him. He was able to use that to help me improve my own self-confidence, which has always been lacking a bit, and I'm very grateful for that. I have no doubt I'm simply one of many people he made happier over the course of his lifetime.

Thank you for doing what was surely one of your least significant deeds Terry - it won't be forgotten, and neither will you.

Condolence: To the family of Terry Fox,
I am so very sad to have just heard of Terry's death and my heart goes out to his entire family on this tragic loss. Terry and I were both members of the Oshawa Toastmasters Club and he was such a bright light in our club. He had such a positive energy and was so excited about his new passions in life. What I remember most about Terry is how much he loved his wife and his children.
Sending strength and my sincerest condolences to you all,
Christine Scollon-Umphrey

Condolence: The Fox Family: Since learning of Terry's death, I have been struggling to find the right words to express my sympathy.
Although I did not know him personally, I had a sense of who he was from his children and his mother, Pat. I am sorry I will never have an opportunity to know this fine father, son and husband. May you find strength in the upcoming weeks to cope with this loss and most of all, may you find peace.
You are in my thoughts,
Ellen.

Condolence: Dear Miranda and family,
We are so sad to hear of your tragic loss. After only meeting Terry briefly, his personality was unforgettable. He seemed to have a heart of gold and made people smile. I will never forget his kindness of going out of his way to get to know us. Our girls will never forget the paper lanterns that he brought over to light the sky. May your family and friends find comfort and peace during this difficult time.
Warmly,
Craig and Amy Kendall
