Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday January 8, 2015, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Devoted mother of Steve (Valerie), Nina (Taras) and Linda (David). Cherished grandma of Erin (Chuck). The family is deeply grateful for the kind care Emily received from the nurses on the Palliative Care floor at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. The Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church (31 Bloor St, Oshawa) on Monday January 12, 2015 at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
