Obituary for Walter Keith Moores
MOORES, Walt
Passed away, with his family by his side, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on July 1, 2015, at the age of 82.
Loving husband of Diana. Devoted father to Brian Moores, Barbara Hamlyn(Doug), Lee Moores(Jackie),Kimberley Rademaker of California, and Dale Moores. Beloved grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Walt will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law, Bud Holmes, as well as by many extended family and friends.
In accordance with Walt’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held. In keeping with his final wish, Walt will return to his favorite fishing hole.
The family would like to extend their warm thanks to Durham EMS for their compassionate care, and to the members of AA for all of their support over the years. If desired, memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa-Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
