HENDERSON, Gary Douglas
February 25, 1945 – June 5, 2016
Passed away on Sunday June 5, 2015 at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa in his 72nd year. Beloved son of the late Gordon and Mary Henderson. Loving husband of Margaret (nee: Ellis) for 31 years. Much loved father of Gordon (Randie), Suzanne (Bill), and Gary. Dear papa of Jakob, Brianna, Jordyn, Danielle and Madison. Gary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sister-in-laws Shirley Hill (late Gerald) and Barbara Chapman (Douglas), and his brother-in-laws Harold Ellis (late June), and Robert Ellis (Dianna), as well as all his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Gary was retired from General Motors with 38 years service, as well as a past president of Glen Stewart Park. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, for Visitation on Friday June 10th from 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday June 11th at 11am, visitation will be held one hour prior to service time, starting at 10am. Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Centennial Albert United Church Memorial Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
