A Dignified Life of a Worthy Person...

These days are extremely sad for me and for my family.

We have lost the Person, who became a part of our family, became dearest of the dearest, closest of the closest.

Aunt Maria has lived the life that can be a model for others to follow. She remained kind, sincere, devoted, just and industrious in any life situation. She always loved people more than she loved herself and thus can be an example of true love of others.

She could always be touched by somebody’s sorrow, could listen and advise, as well as she could be happy for somebody.

We are also reminded of her being an excellent hostess, who performed amazing embroidered ornaments and cooked delicious dishes. Her house reminded the oasis of beauty as everything she was doing came from her heart. And one could envy her hospitality: nobody left her house without having been treated to her tasty cookies or pies.

And we all are witnesses of her devoted work for the church and the community. She approached any event in the life of the community as her personal one, working for it hard and preparing it in the best way.

She also embodies the love of the native land and the language. She had lived almost all her life away from the motherland, but loved it till her last minute.

Aunt Maria’s life is a dignified life of a worthy Person. For me, she will always remain a dear and close Person, the fondest memories of whom I will keep as long as I live.

Life goes on, people come and go, but I believe that people like aunt Maria stay among us forever…

May she rest in peace…
