Well Dave...AKA Speedy.....

I knew you from down town Osh as a teen but I would have to say I felt you to be a great friend more so after I moved into the building you had just started being the super in about 18 years ago. We had some great talks, and some laughs too. I loved how you would bring things back to your apt and found something special about the smallest of things...you'd take me around your place showing me these things you found and telling me the story behind it. Seeing is we both come from a bit of a party past, it was nice as adults to share stories of our faith and hope in the Lord. I was so touched hearing you tell me about your younger days at camp. When Gord and I offered to pray with you I could see how sensitive you were to Gods presence. the next day you came back and said you felt something lift off you and got the most peaceful sleep you ever had in a long time. I had to chuckle when you wanted to pray again and said you were gonna go sit on the prayer chair...I guess thats what it was seeing is that is where u were sitting the day b4 when we prayed. You were always moving hundred miles an hr and Gord gave you the nic name speedy...being a man thats quick on your toes you came back with your own nic name for him saying, so long Slow. for those that don't know Gords in a wheelchair and does move rather slow. He thought that was quite funny himself. Well...I sure hope you found the peace you were searching for..I know the last few conversations we had on FB you had said things were going very well... So long my friend...and my prayers are with your lovely family...I don't know you all but to Jackie...My heart goes out to you all and just know I will be praying for you.
